Business Support (Administrative Support Services)

Our client, one of the international oil companies operating in the Niger Delta, is seeking to fill the role of Business Support (Adminstrative Support Services)

Job Role

  • The role will Support Strategy and Planning team in Contract Management activities and Business Support within the Security Function.

Job Description

Specifically, the Business Support role will include, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of Contract strategy and documents.
  • Manage Goal Zero Documentation, Integrity Due Diligence (IDD), HSSE Plan & Capability Assessment, Workers Welfare Plan, Contract Risks Assessment Matrix, and Contract Performance Checklist.
  • Purchasing Requisition (PR), Financial Invoice (FI) Processing, Purchasing Order (PO), Service Entries Creation, Preparation of Security Contract Performance Report
  • Monitor Spend against Target budget on monthly basis for possible realignment.
  • Management of documents in repositories like SharePoint, OneDrive etc.
  • Identify creative cost saving initiatives and track value – report out quarterly.
  • Gather supporting document evidence and upload for Budget/performance review during budget defence.
  • Preparation of monthly activity accrual.
  • Validate request for Vendors’ Invoice Status. Carryout checks in SAP and provide advice on Service Entry position.
  • Follow up on timely resolution of vendors issues and provide overview of controls put in place on invoice processing.
  • Produce Monthly budget plan/value of work done (VOWD) – end of every month.

Skills/Competencies Required

  • Coordinate and verify Variation Orders (VO) request from various functions for Purchasing Orders (PO), align with the ACV approved value to enable seamless smooth streams of transactions.

Academics

University degree in Business Management or any other discipline.

Age

29-50 Years

Work Experience

Currently in the role or at least 5 years’ working experience in Security Contract Administration and Support roles in the Oil & Gas Sector will be an added advantage.

Professional Certification

Professional industrial security certification/membership of ASIS or equivalent body is an added advantage.
